HDCP error purple screen. Fuzzy purple scrolling random error message. Happens now and then. Normally everything is wonderful, then ROKU updates it’s software and poofers, back to the same glitches. I wish I still had my ROKU 3. The Premiere + has not been as pleasing.

When I click on a YouTube video, sound starts playing with a black screen. I have to push something on the remote to get the pic to show up. Then I have to push something again to get the pop-up menu to go away. Repeat for every video.

Problem channel: YouTube
Issue/Symptoms:
Logged in with account, however under Library, everything is missing (Watch Later, Playlists, etc.)
Subscriptions is the generic listing, not my Subscriptions.

Issue first identified on my older Roku 2, thought maybe it was finally too old, however the issues replicated on my brand new Streaming Stick.
I’m messaging with Roku Support, as the issue is with YouTube/Google and their channel. I’m suspecting that this may be the root cause of the issues others have reported.

Problem with watching youtube on my roku! We use the roku in place of cable, some channels won’t load because our Internet provider is not on roku’s list of providers ( Comcast) but for the last few days youtube will not load. Today after deleting it and reloading it youtube loads but when we click on a video it either will not load or we get a blank screen with sound only.

I just started using Roku, I was still within my free seven day period. Service was working great and last night I tried to watch a movie and I couldn’t get a picture, the sound was working great, I tried to watch, Netflix,no pic, tried HULU, NO PIC, tried Fandango, NO PIC, got sound but still no pic, can someone advise me on what to do?

Replaced Roku 3 with new Roku Ultra, after 1 month apps take a while to load, shows and movies continuously buffer (unplugged and reset multiple times)…hooked back up Roku 3 it runs great, fast and no buffering. Got the Ultra to go with my 4K TV and overall performance and speed…very disappointed!!
